Edit a Social Post

Change the content of a draft or scheduled Social Post, or update a post that's already been shared on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn

Not sure that the content of your social post for Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn is just right? You can change it at any time! You can edit the text part of your published Social Post, including links and hashtags.

Light Bulb IconDid you know? If your published post includes images, you won't be able to edit them the same way you can edit posts that were posted directly through a social platform because the images are hosted through Constant Contact. However, you can delete your post and then create a new one with the corrected image.

Edit a draft or scheduled Social Post before it's published

If you need to change the text of your post, add emoji or hashtags, swap out an image, pick a new date and time you want to share your post, or even add or remove a social profile, you can easily update it from within your Constant Contact account while the post is in draft or while it's scheduled to post:

  1. Click Marketing channels  > Social posts

    Access the Social posts page

  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. Next to the draft or scheduled social post, click Edit.

  4. Select which social profile you'd like to update. Update the post text, choose or create a new image, pick a new date and time to share your post, and then click Post Now or Schedule Post.
