Social posts that are saved as drafts or are scheduled to post at a future time can be edited at any time before they're finally published.

Edit a draft or scheduled social post before it's published

  1. Click Marketing channels > Social posts.
  2. (Optional) Use the Status and Sort by drop-down menu to help narrow your search.
  3. Next to the draft post, click the Edit button, or if your post is in the scheduled status, click . . . > Edit.

Marketing channels menu expanded with Social posts option selected, Posts tab with Status drop-down menu and Sort by drop-down menu options, Draft post with Edit button and Scheduled post menu expanded with Edit option selected

Edit a published social post on social media

Once a post is shared to Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn, you can't edit the post from within your Constant Contact account. Instead, you must edit the post directly from within your social media account:

Keep in mind that when you make changes to your post from your social media account, you won't see the changes reflected in the post or activity reporting in your Constant Contact account.
