Disable pop-up blockers for just the Constant Contact website

In order to use Constant Contact, you must allow pop-ups. Some software allows you to specify sites from which pop-ups are allowed, while others have global settings. For more information, please choose the appropriate item in the following list:

Apple Safari

  1. Open Constant Contact in Safari.
  2. Right-click on the Constant Contact URL at the top of the browser.
  3. Select "Settings for This Website."
  4. Next to the "Pop-up Windows" option, select "Allow."

For more information on blocking pop-ups in the Safari browser, please see Apple's support.

Google Chrome

These steps are the same for both PC and MAC.

  1. Click the Chrome menu button in the upper right-hand corner of the browser bar.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Advanced."
  4. In the left-hand menu, click Privacy and Security.
  5. Scroll down to the Privacy and security section and click Site Settings.
  6. Scroll down to the Content section and click Pop-ups and redirects.
  7. Next to the Allow section, click Add.
  8. Enter "ui.constantcontact.com" into the Site field.
  9. Click Add.

For more information on blocking pop-ups in the Chrome browser, please see Google's support.

Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge's pop-up options are updated through the Privacy tab on the Network and Internet > Internet Options window via the Control Panel:

  1. Type "pop-up" into the Search field next to the Windows icon in the lower left-hand corner of your desktop.
  2. Click "Block or allow pop-ups."
  3. Click Privacy.
  4. Next to "Turn on Pop-up Blocker," click Settings.
  5. Enter "ui.constantcontact.com" into the Address of website to allow field.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Click Close.

For more information on blocking pop-ups in the Edge browser, please see Microsoft's support.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the Firefox menu button in the upper right-hand corner of the browser bar.
  2. Click Options.
  3. In the left-hand menu, click Privacy and Security.
  4. Scroll down to the Permissions section.
  5. Next to the "Block Pop-up windows" option, click Exceptions.
  6. Enter "ui.constantcontact.com" into the Address of website field.
  7. Click Allow.
  8. Click Save Changes.

In the Mac OS X version of Firefox, the Preferences can be found on the Firefox menu, not the Tools menu.

For more information on blocking pop-ups in the Firefox browser, please see Mozilla's support.

Other Pop-Up Blockers

For other pop-up blockers, we recommend either:

  • Setting an option that blocks only unrequested pop-ups, or
  • Setting an option that blocks all pop-ups but allows for some web sites to be specified as exceptions, and including www.constantcontact.com in your list of exceptions.

The Help for your blocking software should tell you how to do this. If the firewall or security software covers a network, not just your own computer, then you should consult your Network Administrator.
