Receive email updates when contacts opt-in or unsubscribe

Receive the automated daily or weekly Subscriber Activity Report email that includes details about contacts who recently subscribed or unsubscribed

Want to be notified when you have new sign-ups or when someone opts out of your contact list? You can receive a daily or weekly email update from reports@constantcontact.com when you have new sign-ups through any of our list growth tools, or unsubscribes through the link in your email footer. Every sign-up form mentions that a contact can unsubscribe at any time, and every email footer includes a "SafeUnsubscribe®" link.

 

Get permission to send tip.Get permission: Using sign-up forms ensure that you receive and document express consent from your contacts, which satisfies Constant Contact's email permission policy as well as GDPR and CASL regulations.

 


About the Subscriber Activity Report

The Subscriber Activity report is a standard HTML email that includes up to 500 of your new sign-ups or recently unsubscribed contacts. It also includes:

  • Dates and times of the subscribe or opt-out
  • Email addresses
  • First and last names
  • Organization names (if you collect this information on your sign-up forms)

 

You won't receive the report when:

 

Enable and customize the notifications

Turn the email notifications on, change their frequency to daily or weekly, or turn them off altogether. If the the notification needs to be sent to more than one person, you can choose multiple verified email addresses too.

  1. From the menu on the left, click Reporting.
  2. Click the Contacts tab.
  3. Click Get Notifications.

  4. Select the frequency you want to receive your email notification. You can choose "Daily" or "Weekly" on a specific day of the week. To stop the emails, choose "No Report."
  5. Select the verified email addresses where you want your notifications sent. If you need to verify a new address, click +Add new email address.
  6. Click Save.

The report is automatically emailed based on the schedule you selected, but the time of day that the report is sent may vary.
