Having a personal LinkedIn page is great for networking, but if you're not using it for your organization too, you're missing out! A LinkedIn Company Page helps you showcase your entire organization, not just a single person, and also gives your organization a space to connect with other business and industry professionals, and show off your industry knowledge and expertise. Having a LinkedIn Company page lets you take advantage of our social media tools too!

![]() | Important: To make a company page, you first need to set up a personal LinkedIn account. |
Your LinkedIn Company Page is connected to your personal LinkedIn account, so the "owner" of the organization should be the one creating the company page. This will be the Super Admin for your organization with all of the page admin permissions. Once the company page is created, you're able to designate other people to be 'page admins,' which allows them to create posts, respond to messages and comments, and edit the company page, but doesn't give them access to the personal account associated with the business page.
Now that your page is complete, you're ready to start posting! LinkedIn is business-focused, so share your industry expertise, weigh in on industry-related trends, announce your participation in tradeshows or industry events, and highlight all the good work that you're doing as an organization.
