Insert a "View as Webpage" link into an email

Article: 000021982
Updated: February 7, 2025

Give contacts the option to view the full version of your email as a webpage by clicking a link in your email

Some email clients disable images in their emails by default. You can still give those contacts access to the full version of your email by inserting a "View as Webpage" link in your email. When your contacts click on the link, it opens the permanent URL for your email. You have full control of the placement of the link and how the link is worded.

  1. Place your cursor within the text block where you want to add the link.
  2. From the toolbar, click Insert > View as Webpage.

Text toolbar with Insert drop-down menu expanded and View as Webpage option selected

  3. (Optional) Update the text to display as the link. The default text is "View as Webpage", but you can change it to something like, "Can't view this email? Click here." or, "Having trouble viewing?"
  4. Click Insert. The permanent URL for your email is automatically included in the link for you, and you don't have to copy or paste anything!

Insert View as Webpage Link overlay with Text to Display field and Insert button

  5. A placeholder for your "View as Webpage" link is added to your email. To see what it looks like when your contacts view it, click Preview & Test > Preview
Note: Standard web link styles are applied to the link and can't be changed.

  6. Click the Desktop or Mobile tab to view your email, and scroll down to your link. Clicking on the link opens a preview of the webpage view.
Note: The live webpage will not be viewable until the email is sent.
